Looks like I can find the parts I need at any local hardware store. I'll definitely use that as a guide! I still need to get my self a torx set as well so I can continue taking it apart. A very small object. What happens is the heat gets to the CPU, melting the "economical" soldier. Its retarded.. thats why the hot towel method works for a min.. it raises the temp enough to remelt the soldier. I would recommend seeing what connection melted off. It involves resoldiering.
